Roland Faunte wrote his first song at 11 years old. It was about how if you pretended to be a snake for long enough, eventually you would become a snake. He has been unsuccessfully trying to top that ever since. Though his material has changed, now mostly revolving around love and despair, the fundamental message of the music remains: scrape together a life you'll love.
