It’s Bethany Mitchell’s 40th birthday and all she wants is an amazing show with her talented friends! She has assembled an impressive line-up of local and visiting performers and you won’t want to miss it. All are welcome for this celebratory night of incredible talent!
The first set features musicians Mira Cook and Alexis Gideon. Mira Cook is a singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist visiting from Austin, Texas. Her dreamy, textured songs weave together vocals harmonies, drum machine and synthesizer. Alexis Gideon, visiting from New York, is a visual artist, composer, and performer best known for his innovative animated video operas and installations. This set also includes a special performance by dancer and choreographer, Robin Cantrell, visiting from New York City.
The second set features local musicians Chris Otchy and Bethany Mitchell. Chris Otchy creates immersive ambient soundscapes, blending modular synthesis, deep textures, and hypnotic rhythms. Bethany Mitchell is a singer, dancer, musician, and producer. Her melodic music blends synthesizer, drum machine, and piano and her art salon, ArtPärdē, has proudly showcased 80 performing artists at six local venues. This set also includes a special performance by dancer and choreographer, Leigh Schanfein, visiting from Billings, Montana.
