Studio Fallout recognizes that the influence of educators extends far beyond the classroom, inspiring us to strive for excellence and creativity throughout our lives. In honor of these invaluable individuals, we are excited to announce, "Teacher's Lounge," an evening dedicated to celebrating all types of educators who shape our lives and spark our passions. Join us as we express our heartfelt appreciation and support for teachers everywhere. We aim for our guests to leave feeling energized and empowered to make a positive impact in their communities through service and creativity.
San Francisco, California - March 8th, join us for Teachers’ Lounge at Studio Fallout from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM at 50-A Bannam Place. This free event will showcase the artistic talents of educators, complete with live demonstrations and a dynamic “Creation Station.” Here, attendees are invited to embrace their inner student, creating pieces that will be displayed throughout the event.
“Every student has an opportunity to become an artist under Ms. Brasher’s guidance,” says Studio Fallout co-founder Matthew Kadi of one of the artists. “Her open heart and good taste in punk rock music inspired generations to carry the torch well past grade school. I cannot stress enough the gravity of her impact on our tribe of rockers, punks and goths in 1994 and to this day.”
Chris Shary added, "Lori and I are excited to participate in the upcoming show on March 8th!" Chris Shary is a Northern California drama teacher and one of the most prolific punk rock artists since Raymond Pettibon, according to New Noise Magazine. Shary is best known for his iconic portrayal of “Milo” for the punk band, Descendents.
We invite everyone to join us in supporting Wendy Brasher and Marijane Anthony in their sophomore presentation, as they share their journey alongside veteran media-acclaimed artists Chris Shary, Lori Herbst, and Bob Rob Medina. Let’s come together to uplift those who inspire and empower us!
