Pacific Boychoir Harmonies of the Season
Pacific Boychoir Academy is excited to celebrate the holiday season with our annual "Harmonies of the Season" concert. This year’s performance will include audience favorites, such as Ralph Vaughan-Williams’ Fantasia on Christmas Carols, John Rutter’s What Sweeter Music, Harold Darke’s In The Bleak Midwinter, and audience sing-alongs. The concert will also include new repertoire to the choir, including Stacey V. Gibb’s arrangement of The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy and Simon Preston’s arrangement of I Saw Three Ships. The performance will conclude as it does every year with Donald Fraser’s This Christmastide, joining current and former choristers of PBA. In addition to the choir, these performances will feature organist Ben Bachmann, baritone soloist Tim Silva, and a string quartet led by Rebecca Wishnia.
