Shoreline Lake "Curves & Angles" Exploratory Wine Dinner
Besides participants enjoying select pairings with a masterfully prepared three-course dinner at the waterfront American Bistro, this educational tasting also introduces the new language for wine enthusiasts that focuses on modern "shape" and "texture" terminology (which is becoming more prevalent in descriptions of this complex beverage).
Delving into the terroir and craftsmanship of Jackson Family Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon wines, this unique tasting experience, held in a nature preserve within the heart of Silicon Valley, covers an interplay of flavors in each course. Given the expertise of Gavin Gonzado, the American Bistro's Executive Chef, dishes are designed to synchronize with different, but complementary wines, that enhance the distinct parameters of each preparation.
This exploratory tasting will also provide an integrated educational experience, as the Jackson Family Wines host, as well as Chef Gonzado, will help usher guests through the distinctive elements and nuances of each wine.
