Spread Love, is a pop-up act of craftivism aligned with the “What’s So Funny About Peace, Love and Understanding” exhibition at Sanchez Art Center.
Spread Love is an artists response to so much hate speech, so many acts of violence, so much misogyny, so much racism, so much negativity.
This project was created to spread love in hopes of bringing a little more light into the world. – Saskia van Kampen, artist and project creator, Spread Love
Beginning at 2:00 pm, the hands on popup provides attendees the time to drop by, create a heart, take a heart, and spread love, in an act of caring and hope.
Beginning at 3:30 pm, also on Saturday, March 14, spend time with artists in the "What's So Funny About Peace, Love and Understanding" exhibition in the East Gallery (through Sunday, March 22). The exhibition and gallery walk is also focused art as an antidote to the pain, misery and anxiousness being felt throughout our country and abroad. The show offers light and harmony with a focus on peace and finding the helpers who fill our communities with love.
