Richard Lang: Looking Everywhere for Everything - Featured November Maurice Del Mue Galleries Artist

The San Geronimo Valley Community Center proudly presents Richard Lang: Looking Everywhere for Everything - art exhibition in the Maurice Del Mue Galleries from November 6 – 30. There will be a reception for the artist happening on Sunday, November 16 from 4-7pm. Richard Lang will be reading poetry from his exhibit on Monday, November 17 at 1pm. Richard Lang is a Marin-based artist known for his multidisciplinary practice that explores perception, nature, and the overlooked beauty of everyday materials. Working in painting, printmaking, assemblage, and photography, Lang’s work reflects a lifelong fascination with collecting and transforming found objects into visual meditations on time, place, and human impact. Alongside his partner, Judith Selby Lang, he is widely recognized for One Beach Plastic, a long-term environmental art project using plastic debris collected from Kehoe Beach in Point Reyes to illuminate issues of ocean pollution and consumer culture. Rooted in curiosity and observation, Lang’s art invites viewers to see the world with renewed attention—to look everywhere and find meaning in everything.
