Nestled in the scenic hills of Woodside, CA, Runnymede Farm provides the perfect backdrop for an impactful and festive spring day. On April 19, The Samburu Project invites you to join us at this historic property for our 6th annual hike for clean water.
Guests are invited to sip, stroll, and enjoy the farm at their own pace, while browsing local vendors and artisanal goods, indulging in curated wine tastings and a delicious meal from a featured restaurant, bidding in our silent action, shopping at our unique Kenyan market and enjoying live music and lawn games. Your ticket includes full access to the property and all event experiences.
Why We Gather
In Samburu, Kenya, women and girls walk an average of 6 kilometers each day in search of water often unsafe, often scarce. Without clean water, families face disease, girls miss school, and women lose the opportunity to earn income.
At Runnymede Farm, we gather around wine, art, and shared steps – not out of necessity, but in solidarity. Every glass raised and every step taken helps bring clean, reliable water to communities where it changes everything: health, education, equality, and economic opportunity.
For more than 15 years, the Bay Area has stood with Samburu, raising over $180,000. This spring, we return once again to help make the clean water flow, transforming thousands of lives along the way.
