San Francisco Empty Bowls
A fundraiser for the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank
We are proud to announce the first San Francisco Empty Bowls event to be held at the Randall Museum, San Francisco on May 3rd from 1-3pm.
The event brings together art and activism to fight food insecurity in our community. For the price of a ticket, $65, you get to choose from an array of hand crafted bowls donated by SF/Bay Area artists, fill it with delicious soup and sit down for a simple meal of soup, bread and a cookie.
The handmade bowl is then yours to keep as a reminder of all the empty bowls in our community.
Soups will be provided by Cafe Josephine, with vegan options available. Wine and beer will be available for purchase.
We are excited to have the Sunset Community Band, Skillet Licorice and Jeff Lim perform for your enjoyment.
It promises to be an afternoon of good food while enjoying local musicians in the company of your friends and community, all for a good cause.
All proceeds will directly benefit the San Francisco Marin Food Bank.
