California International Antiquarian Book Fair
Now in its 57th year, the California International Antiquarian Book Fair is one of the world’s premier events for rare and antiquarian books and ephemera. On the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the 2026 fair will explore the theme “Revolutionary Forces in America,” examining not only the American Revolution of 1776, but the many scientific, artistic, industrial, political and cultural revolutions that have shaped the nation.
The fair brings together fine and rare printed materials from more than 100 booksellers across the globe. Attendees can explore a vast array of books, maps, ephemera, drawings, manuscripts, autographs and more, with curated collections available for purchase across two floors of exhibition space. Exhibitors will present materials that reflect pivotal turning points in U.S. history, tracing the ideas and innovations that have helped define the nation over time. The California International Antiquarian Book Fair is an inclusive event, offering something for everyone—whether you’re a seasoned collector, a curious bibliophile, or new to the world of antiquarian books.
