Pacifica's Pier: History and Celebration
Join the community to share memories and celebrate the pier at an afternoon event that starts with an outdoor picnic at Civic Center from noon to 1:30 p.m. hosted by the Chit Chat Cafe, which will be selling BBQ and other menu selections. The picnic is followed by a 2 p.m. program at the Pacifica Coastside Museum featuring new displays on the pier's history and sharing pier stories and memories. Pacifica poet Toni Mirosevich will read from her 2022 book about the pier, Spell Heaven. Admission free; donations always gratefully accepted. No RSVP is needed.
