The biggest day of Crawloween returns on Saturday, October 31, 2026, with more than 20,000 people expected to celebrate Halloween across San Francisco. From 2PM to 10PM, participants will be able to visit over 50 bars in the Marina, Russian Hill, Polk Gulch, Union Square and other neighborhoods.
This massive event is designed for people who want more choices than a traditional Halloween party can offer. One ticket opens the door to a long list of participating locations, each with its own atmosphere. Guests can move from neighborhood bars to dance venues, stop for food and use the free Party Bus to reach different sections of the route.
A City Filled With Costumes
Thousands of participants will arrive dressed for Halloween, turning the route into a moving costume party. Guests can wear an individual costume, plan a couples look or gather friends for a large group theme. The Costume Contest gives the most creative participants a chance to stand out.
More Than 50 Bars
The venue list includes longtime neighborhood bars, restaurants, dance clubs and themed locations. Participants are free to create their own route instead of following a fixed schedule.
Discounted Drink Specials
Participating bars will feature lower-priced drinks for pub crawl guests. The specials make it easier to enjoy a long event without paying regular nightlife prices at every stop.
Free Entry
Crawloween participants receive free admission at included pub crawl locations. Individual venues may have capacity limits, so guests should be prepared to move to another nearby stop when a bar becomes full.
A Free Party Bus
The Pub Crawl Party Bus will connect featured neighborhoods and help guests reach more of the event. It is one of the biggest advantages of attending the October 31 crawl.
Contests and Extras
Along with the Costume Contest, guests can join the Find the Gnome Contest and collect party favors during the event. DJs and entertainment will be featured at select bars.
Starting Locations
Participants can check in at Mayes Oyster House, located at 1233 Polk Street, Rick & Roxy’s at 2131 Lombard Street or Union Street Ale House at 1980 Union Street. Additional check-in locations are planned.
