Community and catharsis for our new era. Work through some of your Inauguration Week feelings at a free staged reading of Tony Kushner's "A Bright Room Called Day," a play about five bohemian, artsy friends in 1930s Berlin, reacting to the rise of Hitler.
The bohemian, artsy Madrone Art Bar is the perfect place to gather together and experience this story—please buy some drinks from our hosts and tip them well!
And, since this play acknowledges that the LGBTQ+ community is particularly vulnerable to fascist persecution, we are soliciting donations for Lambda Legal. (No donation is necessary to attend.)
