Lakeshore Spring Festival, a celebration of Oakland’s Lakeshore District launches on Saturday, May 30th!
The Lakeshore District is excited to announce the inaugural Lakeshore Spring Festival ~ marking over a decade since the award winning district has hosted a festival or street fair. The result will be a colorful celebration of Oakland’s Lakeshore District, a robust district that is home to the Oakland LGBTQ Center and newly commemorated Lakeshore LGBTQ Cultural District.
The festival, scheduled for Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 11AM – 7PM is admission free, family friendly and will feature two stages of music and a kid’s zone, artisan market, craft cocktails & local craft beers and more.

The festival is designed to help uplift the many wonderful, small businesses that line Lakeshore Ave ~ a community celebration for residents and visitors to enjoy all the many offerings of the area including renowned establishments like Bardo, Peach, Cat House and more.
