Kriste Michelini Interiors is thrilled to announce the opening of Material Resonance, an immersive new art exhibit celebrating the transformative power of material and process. The exhibit will debut with a special artist’s reception on Thursday, November 14th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., where attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy light bites and wine. Material Resonance brings together the works of five Bay Area visionary artists—Liz Bloomfield, Kim Cardoso, Kristina Nobleman, Joan Pinto, and Amy Torgeson—who each approach their materials with distinctive techniques and a shared commitment to exploring the potential of their chosen media. Through both intuitive improvisation and structured experimentation, these artists invite viewers into a world of tactile engagement and sensory discovery. The artworks presented in Material Resonance create a dialogue that celebrates the beauty within the process itself, as each artist transforms raw materials into profound expressions of form, texture, and meaning. Through this exhibit, Kriste Michelini aims to offer a space for reflection and connection, where visitors can experience the artists’ journeys and the stories embedded in each piece. Additionally, this small works collection will be available for purchase during the opening reception, allowing guests to take home unique pieces to elevate their homes with original art and holiday gifting. Material Resonance will run from November 14, 2024, through January 30, 2025. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with additional viewing opportunities available by appointment on nights and weekends.
