JACK LONDON SQUARE HOSTS ‘ART OF KINDNESS’ CELEBRATION
Jack London Square, one of the Bay Area’s top dining, recreation and commercial districts (www.jacklondonsquare.com), invites the community to its Art of Kindness Celebration, a multi-week program taking place now through May 9th. Leading up to the finale event, guests can contribute to the center’s online Gratitude Gallery by sharing stories of kindness and messages of gratitude. The celebration culminates in a free, family-friendly event on Saturday, May 9th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Palm Plaza near Dave & Buster’s. The event will feature an Appreciation Station for video messages, Kindness Art Activities, The Hug Spot with a mascot offering free hugs, live chalk art including 3D murals, a Goodwill Library with books to take and share, and a Food & Clothing Donation Zone benefiting local nonprofit organizations. A DJ will provide music and giveaways will be available while supplies last. This event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required.
