Flights of Fancy: A Choral Event
Our Spring concert, featuring the chorus, soloists, and orchestra, will be a moving and thoughtful exploration of the theme of flight, both physical and of the imagination. This gorgeous program includes vivid and evocative music by Hagenberg, Stanford, Dello Joio, Debussy, and Mendelssohn, along with the West Coast premier of Artistic Director Michael Conley’s major work This Bequest of Wings, a choral and orchestral song cycle set to the words of Emily Dickinson.
