Spirit of the Giants: A Redwood Empire Whiskey Dinner at The Beach Chalet
The Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant will host Spirit of the Giants: A Redwood Empire Whiskey Dinner on Thursday, April 9 beginning at 6:30 PM. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, guests will be able to enjoy four courses from Executive Chef Jose Mendoza, each of which will be paired with signature cocktails and premium pours including Emerald Giant Rye Whiskey, Pipe Dream Bourbon, Lost Monarch Straight Whiskey Blend, and Grizzly Beast Bottled-in-Bond 5-Year Bourbon. Additionally, the distiller will make a special appearance. The prix fixe meal is priced at $130.00 per person excluding tax and gratuity. The Redwood Empire distillery, for more than a decade, has been known for their sustainable craft whiskey and bourbon that are handmade and barrel aged in Northern California and are exceptionally balanced and complex. Redwood Empire Whiskey is partnered with NGOs dedicated to reforestation.
For decades, Beach Chalet has been known for its contemporary and classic seafood-centric American fare. It is housed in a historic building that now serves as the Golden Gate Park Visitors’ Center at the park's Western edge, fronting the ocean.
