Aquarium of the Bay Pre-Fireworks Celebration
Celebrate America's 250th Birthday at Aquarium of the Bay!
Enjoy panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay and the spectacular fireworks display from one of the city's most unique waterfront locations.
General admission tickets are required to attend event and are not included in ticket price.
While waiting for the fireworks to begin at approximately 9:30 PM, guests can enjoy:
Hot dogs, chips, and soft drinks
Adult beverages for guests 21+ with valid ID
Special appearances by Ollie the Otter
Access to our outdoor balcony viewing area
A festive waterfront atmosphere with incredible Bay views

Aquarium open until 7:00 PM
Last aquarium entry: 6:30 PM
Event hours: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Food and beverage service: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Tickets are non-refundable
Important Information
After 8:00 PM, elevator access to ground level will no longer be available.
Exiting the event after 8:00 PM requires the use of stairs and is not ADA accessible.
Beginning at 8:00 PM, the balcony viewing area will be open to the public. Purchasing a ticket guarantees early access to a prime viewing location before public access begins.
Pets are not permitted, with the exception of trained service animals.
Fireworks are presented by an outside organization and are subject to weather, safety conditions, and city regulations.
