Join us for two unique writing workshops at the beautiful Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary, where nature meets creativity! Led by lauded poet and writer Audrey Le, these immersive experiences will improve your writing whether you are a seasoned poet or eager beginner. EcoPoetry Workshop Dive into the beauty of nature and creative expression in our EcoPoetry Workshop on Saturday, January 18th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This session invites writers of all levels to explore the intersection of poetry and the environment. Using nature as both inspiration and subject, participants will engage in creative exercises to deepen their appreciation for the natural world while honing their poetry skills. Attendees will: -Learn how to observe and appreciate nature through a poet’s eye. -Write evocative, nature-inspired poems. -Explore environmental themes and their connection to personal experiences. -Receive feedback on their work in a supportive environment. Memoir in Nature Workshop Immerse yourself in the Memoir in Nature Workshop over the weekend of January 25th-26th from 1-4 PM. In this reflective workshop, adults of all writing levels will explore how the natural world intertwines with their personal stories. Participants will engage in guided writing exercises designed to help them craft meaningful memoirs, using nature as both a setting and a source of inspiration. Through this process, attendees will: -Reflect on life’s key moments and their connections to nature. -Develop skills to craft compelling, nature-inspired memoirs. -Connect with the environment through mindful observation. -Explore personal growth and self-discovery through storytelling.
