Labor of Love

Berkeley, CA – Gallery 2727 is pleased to announce the upcoming art exhibition, "Labor of Love," showcasing the works of Gallery 2727 artists. The exhibition will run from January 31 to February 23, 2025, at Gallery 2727, located at 2727 California Street, Berkeley, California 94703. "Labor of Love" is an exhibition that celebrates the joy and fulfillment that comes from creating something for the sake of passion. While funding is an undeniable and welcomed patronage, Labor of Love is work done first and foremost for pleasure. This exhibition recognizes that creativity has the power to center, heal, expand horizons, and fulfill. Labor of Love can take many forms: it can be enduring, a persistent pursuit of one's passions; problem-solving, finding innovative solutions to complex challenges; building bridges, connecting people, places, and ideas; traveling, exploring new landscapes and experiences; or self-love, nurturing one's own well-being and creativity. The artworks on display reflect what the artists love, what they love to do, or works they love making. "We are thrilled to present 'Labor of Love' at Gallery 2727," said gallery artist Michael Sacramento. "This exhibition is a testament to the transformative power of art to bring people together, inspire creativity, and foster a sense of community." An opening reception will be held on January 31 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, providing an opportunity for visitors to meet the artist and experience the exhibition firsthand. Admission to the exhibition and reception is free and open to the public. About 2727 Artist Co-op: We are a collective of local artists exhibiting regularly at our space in Berkeley, CA.
