Shoot 360 San Mateo, which began welcoming athletes on Jan. 30, will host its official grand opening celebration on Feb. 26 from 4–6 p.m. at 23 Karen Road in Belmont.
The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 4–4:30 p.m., followed by tours and demonstrations of the facility’s technology-driven training courts. Guests can participate in interactive drills, try the training technology, and enter raffles for prizes and training experiences.
Backed by NBA and WNBA stars Trae Young, Sue Bird, Breanna Stewart and Zaza Pachulia, Shoot 360 offers a high-tech, gamified training experience. The facility combines proprietary motion tracking, interactive displays and real-time analytics to help athletes develop skills in shooting, passing and ball-handling while training like the pros.
A highlight of the celebration will be an appearance by Pachulia, a former Golden State Warriors player, two-time NBA champion and Shoot 360 franchisee. Belmont Vice Mayor Cathy Jordan is also scheduled to attend. The event will include a live DJ, food from Long Bridge Pizza Company and a live recording of the Paulie Mac’s Particles podcast.
The grand opening is open to the public and designed to give the community a firsthand look at the new basketball training space and its technology-focused approach to skill development.
