MISSION VALLEY OFFERS SENSORY-FRIENDLY VISIT WITH SANTA
Mission Valley, an open-air shopping center located in San Diego, California (https://www.mission-valley.com), invites children with special needs and their families to a sensory-friendly visit with Santa Claus from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 7th, at Santa’s cabin in the Nordstrom Rack Court. During this private event, music will be turned down and the atmosphere will be gentle and relaxed, making it ideal for children and individuals with sensory sensitivities. Professional photo packages start at $39.99, and families are encouraged to make advance reservations to reduce wait times, though walk-up visits will be accommodated as space allows. Guests with reservations will receive a free personalized message from Santa before their visit. Each child can also participate in a private craft activity with Slime Kitchen featuring ASMR-inspired (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) textures and experiences. While attending, families are invited to share the warmth of the season by donating new or gently worn coats at the One Warm Coat kiosk outside Foot Locker and Tilly’s through December 21st to benefit local families in need.
