SPJST District Rally
SPJST, a fraternal benefit society rooted in community service and Czech heritage, invites the public to attend its upcoming District 7 Rally on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at SPJST Lodge 107 Hall, 1156 FM 1303 in Floresville.
The free afternoon event promises good food, fun, and fellowship for all ages—including contests, games, a community service project, and prize drawings. Guests will enjoy refreshments (svačina), interactive displays, and youth and family-friendly activities like a craft station, cornhole, dominoes, and more.
A key highlight of the event is the SPJST Gives Service Project supporting the Floresville Police Department’s Blue Santa Program, which brings joy to local children during the holiday season. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new toy or make a monetary donation to support the program. This is a great way to give back to the community while spending a fun afternoon with family and friends.
The event will also feature a Show & Share contest with two creative categories:
Cookie Auction: Bring one dozen homemade cookies with a printed recipe to be included in a silent auction. Proceeds benefit the Blue Santa program.
Photography Display: Submit a photo on the theme “SPJST” (8x10 or 8.5x11) for display.
Gift cards will be awarded in both categories, with separate youth and adult divisions. While this is not a judged contest, everyone who participates will be entered into a drawing to win.
All SPJST members in attendance will be eligible for the grand prize drawings, including a Ninja Air Fryer, Samsung Galaxy Tablet, dinner for four at Texas Roadhouse, and more. Guests are welcome and will be entered into a separate drawing.
