Southern Shade is Central Texas’s high-energy 80s & 90s party band — built to turn any night into a sing-along, dance-filled, crowd-interactive blast. From Def Leppard to Britney Spears, from Beastie Boys to Bon Jovi, they mix iconic hits with humor, personality, and the kind of chemistry that keeps crowds glued from the first song to the last. Based in Dripping Springs, Southern Shade plays 40+ shows a year across the Austin–San Antonio corridor, lighting up venues like Hudson’s on Mercer, Shooters, Regal Rooms, Bar Louie, and The Oasis. Voted “Best Local Band 2025” by the Dripping Springs Century News, the band combines professional production, tight musicianship, and big-crowd energy for a show that’s equal parts nostalgia and pure fun.
