Casting Call - Open Auditions
We’re seeking dancers/performers (18+) to embody the roles of "EAST," "SOUTH," "WEST," and "NORTH," collectively known as “THE FOLLOWERS.”
Performers will be required to recite and memorize lines, speak clearly while performing, and demonstrate exceptional movement skills with props such as walking sticks, totem poles, and pre-Hispanic musical instruments (e.g., hand drum, rattles, ayoyotes).

Description: Set in a Los Angeles sweatshop warehouse at the height of the underground rave scene of the 1990s, “The Miraculous Mixes of DJ Santa Cecilia” imagines an alternate history where a congregation of indigenous immigrants are introduced to electronic dance music (EDM) in sacred ceremony mixing tribal traditions with industrial techno beats near the end of the millennium.
ROLES AVAILABLE:
- EAST: Male dancer, age 18 & up
- SOUTH: Female dancer, age 18 & up
- WEST: Female dancer, age 18 & up

Callbacks: Jan 25 (1 PM) & Jan 26 (6 PM)
Bring your movement style—Cumbia, Rave/House, or your own—and be ready to learn reverence-based choreography inspired by ritual and the four directions.
