New Year's Eve Party with Death and Taxes Band
A sensibly early New Year's Eve Party with Death and Taxes Band, led by Rebecca Roudman of Dirty Cello fame
The Winters Opera House and the Death and Taxes Swing Band are teaming up for a night of dancing, great music and of course, complimentary champagne.
The theme of this event is all the fun without the hassle - an early night, easy parking, a reasonable price, and classic music at a comfortable volume level. There will be a great wooden dance floor and also chairs and tables to sit at.
The Death and Taxes Swing Band will play classic songs from the 40’s and 50’s as a swingin’ 6 piece band. To get everyone out on the floor and having a great time there will be a short, optional, beginner dance lesson right before the music starts.
The evening begins at 8:00 (doors at 7:30) and at 9:00 the complimentary champagne will start flowing for a New York New Years Eve (3 hours early). Throughout the night there will be snacks for sale and a full bar. The event wraps up around 10:00.
