David’s street photographs capture spontaneous, unguarded scenes from everyday life. Nancy learned early on in a portrait seminar that it’s best not to paint people you know, so using David’s street photos are ideal. Moving from lens to brush, their work reflects an ongoing dialogue between two ways of seeing—and the shared experience of observing the world together. In addition to their shared artistic experience, each artist is also exhibiting individual pieces of their work.
