EDHGS members gather on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month (except in November & December), from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the:

Or on Zoom video, depending on speaker availability and as determined and announced each month.
The first meeting (2nd Tuesday of the month) is usually a video Zoom Meeting often featuring a speaker or other educational, remote presentation. However, occassionally speakers may be in-person at the El Dorado Hills Library. Check our Website Calendar to confirm whether it is a Zoom or in-person presentation/meeting.
The second meeting of the month (4th Tuesday of the month) is our in-person Genealogy Workshop at the El Dorado Hills Library, designed for members to work on projects or to assist and/or seek assistance from others trying to research their family history.
In a friendly and encouraging atmosphere, EDHGS members meet to help each other expand our genealogy knowledge and develop our individual family histories. We support each other to find answers to genealogical questions and push through "brick walls." We learn new skills and discover helpful tools and websites on all genealogical topics. We share our personal set-backs, triumphs, and intriguing stories. We have occassional guest speakers on a variety of genealocical topics, and there is so much more.
