OneROC Public Kickoff Meeting


OneROC and the Regional Revitalization Partnership have announced a public kickoff meeting on May 13th at 5 PM at St. Mary’s Campus for the West Main Gateway project, a transformative initiative aimed at revitalizing the West Main Street corridor in Rochester, NY. This event marks the official launch of the program and is the next step in engaging residents, business owners, and stakeholders in shaping the future of this historically significant area. Grant funding is available for business properties located on West Main Street between Genesee Street and West Broad Street. Both owners and commercial tenants should attend the event to learn more about the program and what kind of projects are eligible to apply. West Main Gateway, funded through the Regional Revitalization Partnership (RRP), is designed to enhance the economic vibrancy and urban landscape of the West Main Street commercial corridor. OneROC, in partnership with LaBella Associates, the Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood Association, In.Site Architecture, Community Design Center of Rochester, and Tipping Point Communications, will lead the project including community engagement, urban design improvements, and grant opportunities of up to $250,000 for business property enhancements that promote local economic opportunity and vibrancy.
