Join in the fun and come to PPL to discover our dinosaur mascot and other activities for book lovers throughout the summer. Teen Summer Reading Game Monday, June 29-Friday, August 7 | For students entering grades 6-12 this fall Want to win some awesome prizes this summer? All you have to do is: Pick up an entry form at the Information Desk Once you have read the entire book and filled out the form, bring the form to the Information Desk Check the prizes available and choose which one you would like to win Put your entry in that box You can then pick up another prize entry form for more chances to win Check out and read more awesome teen books! Children's Summer Reading Game Registration opens June 15 | Monday, June 29-Friday, August 7 | For students entering grades K-5 this fall Registration for the Summer Reading Express and traditional Summer Reading Games opens Monday, June 15. To sign up, fill out a registration card at PPL and pick up your Unearth a Story Reading Game packet in the Children’s Room. Throughout the summer, read books and complete fun challenges to earn prizes and win a special prize at the Finale Party! Summer Reading Express Record your minutes for the week on your calendar Come to the library once a week any time we’re open to turn in your minutes Get a small toy prize Enter the weekly raffle Summer Reading Game Record your minutes for the week on your calendar Come to the library during game times below to turn in your minutes Participate in an optional weekly genre challenge Participate in an optional weekly activity Get a small toy prize Enter the weekly raffle Reading Game Days: Monday: 10:00 AM-1:00 PM Wednesday: 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday: 5:00-8:00 PM Preschool Summer Reading Game Monday, June 29-Friday, August 7 | For ages 2-5 Beginning June 29, stop by the Children’s Desk to register and pick up your weekly form (only one form per week). Complete the five activities during the week, then bring your form back to PPL to pick up your prize. You can also substitute reading a book for any of the activities if you would like.
