Laurel House 5K Walk/Run
The Laurel House Comfort Care Home will host its 11th Annual 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, June 13, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM.
Check-in will take place in Central Park.
The race begins on Main Street near the Post Office and finishes on East Avenue near the Alex Eligh Community Center.
Can’t attend in person on June 13? Participants can still join through the virtual option by submitting their race time and a photo to be included in the official race results.
Pre-registration ends June 5, 2026.
• Adult Registration: $32.80
• Youth Registration: $22.80
Registration includes all fees, a race shirt, and a race bag filled with snacks, coupons, and surprises, along with post-race awards and door prizes. Day-of registration will also be available for a small additional fee.
A special children’s race, the Superhero Sprint, will begin at 8:30 AM for children up to age 10. Registration is $6.30 and includes a medal and a goodie bag. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

All proceeds benefit Laurel House Comfort Care Home, which provides compassionate end-of-life care to residents throughout Wayne County at no cost to the families they serve. Last year alone, Laurel House cared for 58 residents, offering high-quality care and support while giving families the opportunity to spend meaningful time with their loved ones.
