Theater Apparatus is proud to bring David Auburn’s Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning play Proof to Rochester audiences in a bold new staging at MuCCC this June. Under the direction of Jeremy Sarachan, this production explores the boundaries between genius and madness and the importance of trust.
Set in Chicago, Proof follows Catherine, a young woman who has spent years caring for her brilliant but mentally ill father, Robert. Questions about the mathematical work they discover challenge the characters’ assumptions and belief in one another. CAST: Mady Huston as Catherine, Greg Ludek as Robert, Alessandro Martellaro as Hal, and Miranda Rose Blood as Claire.
