Astronomy on Tap Rochester
Astronomy on Tap is a global public outreach program where events are hosted at a local bar or brewery featuring scientists giving informal, accessible presentations to bring astronomy to a social setting. Astronomy on Tap Rochester is a satellite of the global series and typically consists of two short talks by local scientists on a wide range of topics in space science. We also have interactive activities like trivia about astronomy and science between talks, and we answer questions from the audience after each talk. Our events take place monthly and are free and open to all ages, and we have ASL interpreters present at many of our events, however we cannot guarantee interpreters at all events.
