As we meander along the Rhine towards Amsterdam, we’ll stop and discover the charming town and capital of Alsace, Strasbourg, with its enchanting half-timbered houses and Little France quarter, and visit the magical formal gardens of Schwetzingen Palace. Before exploring old town Koblenz at the intersection of the Mosel, we’ll sail through the mythical Middle Rhine Gorge, where majestic castles and vineyards dot the hillsides. Finally, we’ll savor the grandeur of historic Cologne with its famous cathedral, and end our delightful journey along the Rhine by relishing in the incredible beauty that is Keukenhof Gardens.
Presented by retired professor David Schuler.
