RPO Around the Town: FREE Community Concert at Churchville-Chili Senior High School
Kick off the weekend with FREE music that moves as Assistant Conductor Jherrard Hardeman and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra spring into action for a community concert certain to get you into the spirit of the season. On the program: favorites such as Leroy Anderson's "First Day of Spring" and Beethoven's "Coriolan Overture," as well as Maestro Hardeman's moving original composition "The Promise of Tomorrow." Guest soloist is piano virtuoso Mark Wang, a Pittsford Sutherland High School junior who took home the 2024 grand prize at the prestigious annual Young Artist Auditions presented by the Rochester Philharmonic League.
