2026 Canandaigua National Day of Prayer Breakfast
The 2026 Canandaigua National Day of Prayer Breakfast will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post 256 (454 N. Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424). This event is part of the nationwide observance of the "National Day of Prayer," which Congress has designated as a day on which "the people of the United States may turn to God in prayer and meditation at churches, in groups, and as individuals." 36 U.S. Code § 119.
We are delighted to announce the keynote speaker for this year's event will be Todd Bernhardt, Executive Director of Family Promise of Ontario County. Todd first became involved with Family Promise in 2017 as a volunteer, which sparked a strong passion for wanting to serve in a career helping families that fall on hard times. Now, as Executive Director, Todd has assisted Family Promise in establishing Ontario County's first family homeless shelter.
Come celebrate this historic achievement for our community, as we gather to share a meal with friends and neighbors and reflect with gratitude on all of the blessings of the preceding year.
Tickets for the event, which includes breakfast, are $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance online via the Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua website, or can be paid the morning of the event with cash, or check made payable to Kiwanis Club of Canandaigua.
