Discover the forgotten rail lines that shaped our region! On Monday, October 5 at 1:00 PM, the Livonia Public Library will host local railroad historian and researcher Tyler Heiman for an immersive presentation of Livingston County's historic railroad networks. Utilizing rare Archival photographs and historic maps, Heiman will trace regional corridors-incliding the Erie, Delaware, Lackawanna and Western, and the Pennsylvania systems . Attendees will explore the massive engineering feats, steep mainline grades, and hidden rail infrastructure that forever altered the layout of Western New York. The event concludes with an audience Q&A. Admission is completely free and open to the public.
