VCUarts Theatre is thrilled to present Twelfth Night, one of William Shakespeare’s most beloved romantic comedies. Directed by Rick St. Peter, this timeless play brims with shipwrecks, mistaken identities, and an unforgettable mix of romance and mischief.
The story centers around twins Viola and Sebastian, who are separated after a shipwreck. Viola, disguised as the young man “Cesario,” enters into Duke Orsino’s service, leading to a tangled web of unrequited love, comic misunderstandings, and emotional discoveries. What kind of comedic chaos will ensue, when Sebastian shows up alive and well after all?
