Veterans’ benefits seminar
Attention wartime Veterans, find out if you or your spouse qualifies for a higher level of pension during a free Veterans’ benefits seminar hosted by The Crossing at Bon Air, located at 9100 Bon Air Crossings Drive, on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 2-4 p.m.
Guest speakers Beth and Eric Jorgensen discuss “Aid and Attendance,” a pension benefit that can help defray senior care costs and differs from the VA’s compensation benefit. Learn more about the resources you may be entitled to, eligibility requirements, and how to apply.
A Veteran and/or spouse may receive up to $2,358, and married couples may receive up to $2,795 monthly. Q&A to follow.
