Opening as the nation marks its 250th anniversary, Americana explores how America's identity has been shaped and projected through design, photography, advertising, fashion, and popular culture. Featuring work by Guggenheim Fellows and internationally recognized artists, the exhibition examines the images and archetypes that have helped define American identity and asks a timely question: Are we living up to the promises we've made?
Join us for the opening reception on Thursday, July 2. Members receive complimentary early access from 5–6 PM, followed by the public reception from 6–8 PM. $10 admission includes wine and beer, along with a sampling of Madeira from Broadbent Selections, a wine long associated with America’s founding.
