Science After Dark: Storm Chaser
Join us as we uncloud meteorological mysteries from all four seasons, from the making of snowflakes to fossilized lightning! Let our Speed exhibition blow you away with its hurricane chamber. Generate wind in a hands-on experience in The Forge, see weather patterns in our solar system in a live astronomy show in The Dome and more!
Family-friendly costumes are encouraged! Dress up as a snowman, a gust of wind or your favorite local meteorologist. Join us as we rock this Friday night like a hurricane!
Admission
Science After Dark admission is $18.50 for adults; $15.50 for youth (ages 6–12) and seniors (ages 60 and older) and $11 for preschool-aged children (ages 3–5). Science After Dark admission is free for Science Museum members, children under 2 and college students with a valid ID.
Live astronomy shows in The Dome are included with Science After Dark admission and will take place at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Shows are approximately 30 minutes in length. Please note: there are no assigned seats in The Dome. Seating is first-come, first-served, and guests may sit wherever they like.
