The Richmond Grower’s Market is a weekly Saturday market from 8-12 from May-Oct. The market will be at Legend Brewing Co. at 321 s. 7th street in Manchester, and hosting between 30-50 vendors. Our mission at the Richmond Grower’s Market is to be a catalyst for positive change, food justice, and community connection while helping small businesses grow and succeed. The Manchester neighborhood has been wanting for a grocery store for a long time. Market organizers Mo Karnage and Marie D’Angelo are not known for waiting for others to get things done and realized that starting Richmond Grower’s Market was the logical next move in their growing joint ventures as Sparkle and Sweat Productions and for the Manchester community. While a weekly farmer’s market is no replacement for a 7 day a week grocery store, it helps. Richmond Grower’s Market plans to include EBT. We also will have lots of neat and free programs during the market, like donation based weekly yoga, weekly story time, and a kids zone with free crafts and activities.
