First Aid Course
This course prepares participants to respond quickly and effectively to a wide range of medical emergencies. Students learn how to provide immediate, appropriate care while awaiting professional responders.
Course Topics Include:
• Scene assessment and safety precautions
• Wound care and bleeding control
• Managing shock and sudden illness
• Burns, fractures, sprains, and strains
• Environmental emergencies (heat, cold, bites, and stings)
• Recognizing stroke, heart attack, and diabetic emergencies
• Mental health awareness and responder self-care
• Certification: Successful participants receive a 2-year certification in First Aid, with an option for re-certification upon expiration.
Instructor Focus: Instructors integrate real-life case studies and field experience into each session, helping participants build the judgment and confidence to apply first aid effectively—even in chaotic or high-stress situations.
