Florence Neal Cooper Smith 5K Walk for Sickle Cell
Join "Finding a Cure Together 4 Sickle Cell" (FACTS), the Upsilon Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated® and Zenobia’s Promise Foundation® for a meaningful 5k Walk dedicated to raising funds for the Florence Neal Cooper Smith Professorship.
Sickle cell disease is a genetic blood disorder that affects millions of people around the world, disproportionately impacting people of color. Your participation in the Sickle Cell Walk can make a difference in the lives of those affected by this condition. The funds raised through this event will directly support the Florence Neal Cooper Professorship, enabling researchers and healthcare professionals to develop better treatments and improve the quality of life for sickle cell patients.
