Local Authors Month Kickoff-Book Signings, Readings and Q&A
April Fools fun: people who are “in the know” are invited to bring gullible friends (especially teens!) to get a free book and get it signed by Mark Twain.
There are two different times to attend: 10 am and 6:30pm.
The free book is real (first 300 people). Twain will be impersonated by McAvoy Layne of Lake Tahoe. He is a hilarious and believable Twain, having performed internationally and earning many awards.
Twain and local author legend Todd Borg, will sign books, read from their books, and answer questions. And, at least 15 local authors will sign and mingle!
This prank kicks off April Local Authors Month. Grassroots will showcase books from 100+ local authors (no joke)!
