Taste of Carolina 2026
Local restaurants will compete for culinary honors at **Taste of Carolina**, a signature fundraiser of The Woman’s Club of Clayton, on March 14, 2026. This exciting dining event showcases the best of our local food scene—all in one place. Guests will enjoy “taste-size” portions from participating restaurants and vote for the People’s Choice Award.
A panel of judges from Johnston Community College Culinary Arts will also present awards for Most Original, Best Dessert, Best Use of Local Ingredients, and Best Presentation. Participating restaurants include Crescendo, Q’Chingon, Fiori’s, Anthony’s La Piazza, Old Fashioned Ice Cream, and more.
The event will be held at The Farm at 42 (Hwy 42 East, Clayton). Doors open at 6:00 PM, with food served from 6:00–8:00 PM and awards presented at 8:30 PM. The evening will also feature a silent auction, DJ, dancing, and a 50/50 raffle. Auction highlights include a Clayton Food Truck package (gift certificates from local restaurants), tickets to *Hamilton*, a four-day stay at a beachfront home, several golf course packages, and more. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. The event concludes at 9:30 PM.
