In this four-part training, which will meet on consecutive Mondays from February 24 to March 17, volunteers will receive training on topics including community outreach, educational presentations, speaking engagements, publicity, and fundraising. The training also includes how to address the needs of hotline callers and personalized exercises to equip volunteers with the knowledge they need to speak to newly diagnosed patients and caregivers.
