Spring Visitors Weekend

After a long winter, West Place Animal Sanctuary’s Spring Visitors Weekend returns! Meet new farm animal rescues like Pua the piglet and Tad the Mandarin duck, and catch up with old favorites. You’ll also have a chance to explore the new West Place Defender 130 – a customized 1-of-1 vehicle that was awarded by Land Rover after the sanctuary won the 2025 Defender Service Awards! Educational and interactive guided tours leave every 30 minutes, giving you 28 tours to choose from. Guests will spend more than an hour walking the beautiful and historic farm estate and getting up close and personal with the rescued farm animals and wildlife who call West Place home. Don’t miss the annual Spring Plant Sale, and be sure to check out new items in the West Place Gift Shop, including new apparel featuring the Defender artwork. Special driving tours will leave at 4pm each day in our electric vehicle, which accommodates those who cannot participate in a walking tour and makes West Place fully accessible. Tours will sell out.
