Fall in love with the farm animal rescues and celebrate several historic milestones during West Place Animal Sanctuary’s Fall Visitors Weekend. Whether you’ve previously visited or this is your first time at West Place, you’ll experience the sanctuary like never before.
During the interactive and educational guided tours, you’ll get up close and personal with rescued farm animals including emus, alpacas, pigs, goats, and many more. You’ll also meet Lata, a life-sized baby elephant from The Great Elephant Migration that was crafted by an indigenous artisan!
The special tour will take you around the home originally built by Dr. Samuel West as we commemorate its 150th anniversary. We’re also celebrating West Place Animal Sanctuary’s 18th anniversary as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and the 15th birthday of Hayden, our executive director’s black lab and unofficial mascot of West Place.
PLUS, you’ll tour the historic cemetery with headstones from the 1790s, and you’ll be among the first to walk through West Place’s newly renovated barn! It all takes place at Fall Visitors Weekend, and all proceeds benefit the sanctuary and our rescued farm animals.
We expect tours to sell out so purchase your discounted tickets online at westplace.org/visitors-weekends.
Special driving tours are also available at 4pm each day, and don’t forget to leave time to explore the West Place Gift Shop.
